Description: This is a very special paint stripper designed to strip CARC chemical agent resistant coatings, including interior topcoat white, exterior topcoat green and camouflage. The CARC coating consists of a primer that is made of thoroughly mixing one volume of Polyamide catalyst component with 4 volumes Resin components. Then either the interior topcoat white is added, made of Epoxy-Polyamide mixture, or the exterior topcoat green or camouflage is added, made of Aliphatic Polyurethane mixture. In the past it has taken the strength of Methylene Chloride to strip this CARC paint. But today we are trying to move away from such harsh and dangerous products. To add to the complexity of formulating an environmentally safe stripper that works, we have to assure that it has Zero-HAPS and that the product has no flashpoint and is non-flammable. This means this paint stripper cannot have any elements that are listed in Appendix G of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 (List of Hazardous Air Pollutants) and no elements that are listed in Part II S., Prohibited Chemicals List. And to add to these requirements, the stripper must strip the CARC within a 2-hour time frame. You can rest assured that K-Chem CARC Paint Stripper meets all these requirements.

Benefits: K-Chem CARC Paint Stripper III is HAPS-Free, non-flammable, no flash point, and successfully strips the CARC white, green, and camouflaged paints within a 60 minute time frame when stripped cold, meaning no aid from heating or agitating. However, when this product is heated to 170 degrees Fahrenheit, it strips the CARC paints within 30 minutes or less time. This is the most desirable means of stripping.

WARNING: It is recommended that protective gloves and safety glasses be worn when using this product. Make sure there is adequate ventilation. Inhalation: move to fresh air. Skin: flush with plenty of water while removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Eyes: wash with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Ingestion: do not induce vomiting. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
